Before Nina Larisch-Haider has chosen New Zealand as her new home in 1999, she has been working in Germany as a school teacher, psychotherapist, naturopath, healer and Yoga-teacher for more than 25 years. During this time in Germany Nina has written five books on living with consciousness: “The journey from Thick to Thin, “Destined for Each Other”, “The Art of Loving yourself”, “Being a Woman” and “Being a Man”. In New Zealand, she developed her own Healing Technique “Healing through the Heart” and has created “Healing Art Mandalas”, which she has shown in different exhibitions in New Zealand and she wrote and published the booklets “Food for Light” and “Life is about you”. Together with her ex-husband Christian she wrote and published “Awaken to your True Self”, which was translated and published this year in Japan. At the same time, she has given lectures about various issues (healing and development) and has written articles and poems for magazines. In New Zealand, Nina developed her unique style “Healing Art Mandalas” and had several exhibitions in Hasting & Napier and one of her Mandalas was chosen for the Norsewear Art Award Exhibition in 2002. From 2003 onwards Nina worked mainly as an artist and was chosen for the first Masterclass at the Learning Connexion in Wellington and graduated with the Advanced Diploma of Art and Creativity (Level 7). In 2003 Nina took part in several different exhibitions in Petone and Wellington, as well as at the Learning Connection in Wellington and had two solo exhibitions at the Farsite Gallery in Petone (“Painting without Paint”) and at the Roar Gallery in Wellington. Between the years 2004 - 2015 Nina owned and managed the Shop & Healing and Awareness Centre TAKE CARE HEALTH and was so busy that art was put at the backburner. But in this time she did her training in Hypnosis and was accredited as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. She started to make art again after her Hip-Operation in 2017and developed her special style of Collages, which are showing the ruptured world and is re-creating it to a new harmony and unity. |
